Chart Selection and Opening
PassagePlus provides five ways of choosing the chart you wish to open:
1. Opening with a chart number
If you know the number of the chart you wish to open, you can key it into the field on the chart opening panel and that chart will open (if you have it).
2. Selecting from the list of recently opened charts
Charts you have recently opened can be selected from the popup bottom in the chart opening
panel. By default the last five charts are retained, but you can change this in Preferences.
3. Selecting from the Related Charts panel
The Related Charts panel displays thumbnail images of charts intersecting your current position and is continuously updated. Click a thumbnail to open that chart.
Clicking 'Browse...' in the chart opening panel will take you to a separate window where you can browse your entire chart collection, quickly previewing charts at low resolution which is much quicker than opening them in turn at full resolution. Once you have made your choice, you can click to open the full resolution version in the main window.
5. Opening from the Chart Manager
When using the Chart Manager, you can open any chart in the list by clicking the 'Open this chart' button.
